We will teach you DIGITAL IMAGERY, 2-D and 3-D ANIMATION, and VIDEO EDITING.
We will also teach you how to integrate these multmedia applications. At CMM, students get hands-on instruction from trained professionals and UNI professors. Students share ideas, work together, and have fun with other talented teens; they also get a taste of life in a tremendous university setting. NEW! Limited scholarships are available.

INVIGORATING CAMPUS SETTING

The learning labs are in beautiful, historic (and newly renovated) Lang Hall on UNI’s main campus in Cedar Falls.

Students get a chance to:

experience college life
use state-of-the-art facilities
meet professors and skilled designers
take part in organized activities
visit area multimedia firms and see what they do

WHERE IS CMM?

Camp Multimedia is held in Lang Hall at The University of Northern Iowa's main campus in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

WHO CAN ATTEND CMM?

Students grades 6-9. You should be entering 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in August, 2011, or have just completed 9th grade to be eligible for CMM.

HOw MUCH does Camp Multimedia Cost?

$250 per week tuition for all day camp instruction and activities (8:30-3:30 pm)
$48 per week for lunch meal plan only

Scholarship opportunities for Camp Multimedia

CMM is committed to helping students with an avid interest in multimedia and who are in need of financial assistence, with scholarship support. This year we are able to offer five fully-funded scholarships for either Week 1 or Week 2, and ten 1/2 scholarships for each Week 1 and Week 2.

If you are eligible, please fill out THIS FORM in cooperation with a teacher familiar with your creative interests. along with the REGISTRATION FORM. We would be happy to mail the forms to you, and any other registration materials. 273-5972. These forms are due by JUNE 1st and you will be notified by June 10.

REFUNDS

Should a camp participant be unable to attend Camp Multimedia before the camp starts, a full refund will be issued to that person. Should a camp participant be able to attend only a part of the camp session, then a partial refund will be issued (according to days attended).
